Works with Odoo and Zoho Books today
Close every client's month on the ledger they already use
SureMonth pulls each client's bank lines, matches them to invoices, bills and payments, and drafts journal entries for what doesn't match. Nothing posts to a ledger without an accountant's approval.
Cancel during the pilot and you pay nothing.

What it does
From bank line to signed-off close
SureMonth does the matching and the drafting. Your accountants review and approve.
Bank lines by API or file
Where open banking is live, lines arrive through a bank API. Everywhere else, upload PDF, Excel or CSV statements.
Matches with reasons
Each bank line is matched to an invoice, bill or payment, with a confidence score and the reasons for the match.
Draft entries for the rest
Lines with no match get a draft journal entry. It reaches the ledger only after an accountant approves it.
Rules that learn
Rules learn from your approvals, so a line you handled last month is matched the same way this month.
Every client in one list
The firm dashboard shows each client's close progress, unmatched lines, status, owner and close day.
Checklist and sign-off
Work through the close checklist, get the partner's sign-off and produce the close pack.
Client requests
Missing a receipt? Send the client a link to ask for it.
A workspace per client
Invoices, quotes, credit notes, bills and expenses for each client company, synced both ways with its ledger.
How it works
How a month-end close runs in SureMonth
The same steps for every client company, whichever ledger it uses.
- 1
Connect the ledger
Link the client company's Odoo or Zoho Books account. SureMonth reads its invoices, bills and payments.
- 2
Bring in bank lines
Connect the bank where open banking is live, or upload PDF, Excel or CSV statements.
- 3
Review matches and drafts
Check each suggested match with its score and reasons, and the draft entries for lines that don't match.
- 4
Approve and close
Once an accountant approves, SureMonth writes back to the ledger. The checklist and the partner's sign-off produce the close pack.
Control
Nothing posts to a ledger without an accountant's approval
SureMonth suggests matches and drafts entries. People decide what goes into a client's books.
Audit trail
Every suggestion, approval and write-back is recorded, on every plan.
Roles
Partners, accountants, preparers and clients each get their own access. On the Firm and Scale plans.
Second approval
Require a second approver for entries above an amount you set. On the Firm and Scale plans.

Frequently asked questions
Is there a trial?
Yes. Every new firm starts with a 60-day pilot. If you cancel during the pilot, you pay nothing.
Which ledgers does SureMonth work with?
Odoo and Zoho Books today. Xero, QuickBooks Online and Sage are planned for Q1 2027, then NetSuite, Business Central, SAP Business One, MYOB and TallyPrime for Q2 2027. Every plan gets each connection as it ships.
How do bank lines get into SureMonth?
Through a bank API where open banking is live: the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, the UK and the EU/EEA, plus aggregators in the USA and Canada. Elsewhere, for example in Qatar, Kuwait and Oman, you upload PDF, Excel or CSV statements. Any account can use statement files.
Can SureMonth post to a ledger on its own?
No. It suggests matches and drafts journal entries, but nothing is written to a client's ledger until an accountant approves. The audit trail records every suggestion, approval and write-back.
What counts as a client company?
One business whose books your firm keeps, connected to its own ledger. Plans are sized by client companies, not by users.
Which languages are supported?
SureMonth is available in English, Spanish, French (France and Canada) and Arabic.
